MY TAKE ON THE DEM DEBATE  —  So, a few observations about the Democratic debate.  —  First, a few months ago, I said that I didn't get what Barack Obama thought he was doing in one of the debates, that he was doing a very good job debating as the frontrunner, when in fact he was falling further and further behind Hillary Clinton.

Reuters/C-SPAN/Zogby New Hampshire Tracking Poll: GOP and Dem Deadlocks in the Granite State  —  But there is clearly movement under the surface  —  UTICA, New York - Republican Mitt Romney slipped barely ahead of rival John McCain in what still looks like a two-man race on the GOP side of the aisle.

McCain and the Debate  —  The more I thought about it last night, the less well his performance sat with me.  I think he won as a political matter and now would be surprised if he doesn't win handily in New Hampshire.  But he was nasty toward Romney, letting his hatred—and I used that word advisedly—show.
