Across Michigan, light turnout and some upset voters  —  Around metro Detroit and across the state, turnout has been so low for the presidential primary that some clerks predict the majority of votes will come from absentee ballots.  —  Clerks say snowy weather and a non-race on the Democratic side have kept numbers down.

NBC appeals Kucinich decision to Nevada Supreme Court  —  The NBC television network has asked Nevada's Supreme Court to overturn a Clark County District Court judge's decision that Cleveland's Dennis Kucinich must be allowed to participate in tonight's debate for Democratic presidential candidates.

Banned at The DoJ  —  We here at TPM get hundreds of emails each day, ranging from reader emails to press releases.  And it took me a while to notice that on October 10th of last year, the Justice Department stopped sending us their releases.  We had been on their list for well more than a year.

Finally: Fred hits McCain; Update: Fred hits McCain again  —  Not with an uppercut but a good straight jab.  It would have been more effective if he'd gone after him individually instead of lumping him in with Huck but the race being what it is in South Carolina, he doesn't have much choice.
