Across Michigan, light turnout and some upset voters  —  Around metro Detroit and across the state, turnout has been so low for the presidential primary that some clerks predict the majority of votes will come from absentee ballots.  —  Clerks say snowy weather and a non-race on the Democratic side have kept numbers down.

Exit polling: Democrats pick McCain over Romney  —  WASHINGTON (CNN) — Despite urging from some activists like Markos Moulitsas that Michigan Democrats vote for Mitt Romney over John McCain, CNN exit polling indicates the Arizona Republican won the liberal vote.

HUCK, THE CONSTITUTION AND 'GOD'S STANDARDS'  —  From NBC/NJ's Adam Aigner-Treworgy  —  WARREN, Mich. — Huckabee's closing argument to voters here this evening featured a few new stories and two prolonged sections on illegal immigration and Christian values.

Obama's Farrakhan Test  —  Barack Obama is a member of Chicago's Trinity United Church of Christ.  Its minister, and Obama's spiritual adviser, is the Rev. Jeremiah A. Wright Jr. In 1982, the church launched Trumpet Newsmagazine; Wright's daughters serve as publisher and executive editor.

Blacklash?  —  So far, in Michigan, the African-American vote is going 69 percent for “Uncommitted” against 25 percent for Clinton.  That's a brutal judgment on the front-runner in the Democratic race.  I wonder if the Clintons have badly damaged their own party in their attempt to quash the hopes raised by Obama.

Banned at The DoJ  —  We here at TPM get hundreds of emails each day, ranging from reader emails to press releases.  And it took me a while to notice that on October 10th of last year, the Justice Department stopped sending us their releases.  We had been on their list for well more than a year.
